Rental Terms

    Updated April 17, 2026

    1. Driver requirements

The renter must be at least 23 years old and hold a valid category B driving licence (held for at least 2 years). An additional driver may drive the vehicle at no extra cost, but the person who made the booking is always responsible for the vehicle.

    2. Pricing and payment

Rental price starts from €110/day. Minimum rental period is 2 days.

The booking fee is €300, paid at the time of booking. The remaining amount is due no later than 30 days before the rental starts via a payment link. You can also pay the full amount in one go.

    3. Mileage

Weekly bookings (≥ 7 days) have no mileage limit. Bookings shorter than a week include 300 km/day. Additional kilometres are charged afterwards at €0.29/km.

    4. Cancellation

You can cancel free of charge at least 30 days before the rental starts – the €300 booking fee is fully refunded.

For cancellations made later, the €300 booking fee is non-refundable. We recommend taking out travel insurance for unforeseen situations.

    5. Insurance and deductible

Comprehensive insurance is included in the price. The deductible in case of damage is €1,000 (can be reduced to €500 for an extra fee). At the start of the rental, a hold for the deductible amount is placed on your card.

    6. Use of the vehicle

    • The vehicle is handed over with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank • Smoking inside the vehicle is prohibited (cleaning fee €250) • Pets are welcome at no extra cost • The vehicle may be driven within Europe – please indicate the destination country when booking • Off-road driving is prohibited

    7. Pickup and return

The vehicle is picked up and returned at the Vanstoori office in Vantaa at the agreed time. Late returns are charged €50 per started hour. Other pickup/return locations are available by separate agreement.

    8. Damage and liability

The renter is responsible for the vehicle as set out in the contract. Minor damage (dents, scratches, above-normal wear) is charged within the limits of the deductible. Off-road incidents (e.g. hitting a tree at a wild camping spot) are subject to the same deductible.

    9. Force majeure

Vanstoori is not liable for cancellations caused by force majeure (natural disaster, government order, mechanical failure before the rental starts, etc.). In such cases the booking is rescheduled or refunded.

    10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation. The competent court is the District Court of East Uusimaa.
